The new Vertical range of PDU has been re-designed to accommodate new protocols relating to the distancebetween the 13 Amp sockets so as to allow larger power supplies to be accommodated.10mm Spacer bars have been laid in so as to provide a 70mm distance (approx.) between the live pins whichshould be suitable for most installations. The sockets are arranged at a slight angle so as to keep the Power Cords away from the sockets .
Some PDUs offer the sockets at right angles but this is not advisable due to excess strain on one side ofthe power cable.
