Bulk fine bath salt derived from the salt waters of the Dead Sea is widely used in various personal-care and cosmetic formulations to exfoliate and revitalize the skin. Once the salt is evaporated from the Dead Sea, the sodium chloride is concentrated and converts into a solid through the process of chemical precipitation. Further concentration of sodium chloride during this process yields bath salt derived from the Dead Sea, resulting in a fine granular product safe for topical use.
