Properties: White powder or particles, apparent density 0.35 ≤ 0.90 g / cm ~ 3, melting point 622 degrees Celsius. Soluble in water. The aqueous solution is alkaline and the PH of 1% aqueous solution is 9.7. It is hydrolyzed to phosphite gradually in water, which has good ability of complexing metal ions. It can complex with calcium, magnesium, iron and other metal ions to form soluble complexes. It softens hard water. As an inorganic surfactants, it has the properties of organic surfactants.
