Crimp hose fittings are used for general purpose industrial and hydraulic applications with low-, medium-, and high-pressure transfer of petroleum- and water-based hydraulic fluids. They connect Eaton Weatherhead series hydraulic hoses to compatible JIC (Joint Industry Council) threaded equipment or hoses. Made of carbon steel, they are stronger than steel hydraulic hose fittings and provide good wear resistance in applications where corrosion is not a concern. These fittings are secured using an Eaton crimping device for a permanent connection.
